- yes it is "Legally" free!
Thanks to Klaus Zerbe, this older 3D modeling
program can also be used to create Genesis3D actors using the utility TrueGENE (v.80)!

Download these three files to the same directory.

After downloading - double-click on each file to unpack
to the default directory. Navigate to \pcplus\truspace\disk1\ and
double-click on the Setup.exe file then follow the instructions to begin the installation.

BSP2T3D - As with QMAPEXP and
others, this utility doesn't do it all that easy, there seems to be many restrictions.
This is suppose to Convert Quake 2 maps to Unreal Maps. The source code is included> I
posted it in thought that maybe one of you programming Guru's out there can use it as a
guideline to make a G3D 1.0 -> 2.0 converter.

TTF2PCX - This can help withe the process of
bitmaped fonts as used with G3D v1.0, perticuallrly GTEST. This mapped all of any
TTF font type onto a PCX fbitmap file.
If you ever tried to maop your own fonts onto a bitmap for GTEST/G3D you'll know why this
is handy.

- Convert Quake Models (.MDL) to 3ds format, then you
can import it into truespace, animation master or 3dsmax 2.0 and prepare it for use in
Jet3D!

Important: I only recommend creating
"Solid" objects and prefabs in MAX, however this is still very difficult to
export them in a useable .Map file...
WINBSPC ver 1.0: This is supposed to convert BSP maps (quake/quake2) back into *.map files,
this should be handy for your quake level makers who want to covert to GEDIT. Also
